it seem that Stockton Bight where they operate 4WD sand dune safari and sand-boarding in Port Stephens ( popular for dolphin watching) was handed back to the aboriginal community.

National Park and two reserves) are co-managed by the Aboriginal Owners and NSW
National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) as conservation reserves.
