観光ビザから学生ビザに切り替えられますか？
分かれ目は、持っている観光ビザに「No Further Stay」条件（8503 など）が付いているかどうかです。付いていると、オーストラリア国内では多くのビザを申請できません。付いているかはビザの許可通知（grant letter）か VEVO で確認できます。条件がある場合は免除（waiver）を申請できますが、認められるのはビザ付与後に起きた、自分では避けられない重大な変化に限られます。結婚や事実婚の開始・コースの不合格・妊娠は理由になりません。申請しただけでは条件は外れず、審査中にビザが切れると不法滞在になります。出国すれば国外からは申請できます。
